Underwood Meat Company is one of the largest independent catering butchers in the UK and we have been operating for almost 50 years. The company started as a small butchery business in the Peak District and has developed to become the national operation it is today.

We are owned and managed by our two active partners who are supported by a skilled team; close customer contact and the personal touch we have always offered has kept our customers coming back and contributed to our growth on a national level.

Our operational sites across the UK include Rotherham, Chesterfield, Holmewood and Godalming. We have production facilities in the North and South of England, supplying commercial retail restaurant chains along with the small professional independent chefs and public and private sector caterers, and now serving the general public through our nine retail shops.
